Top bar icons/buttons

So, no illustrations at the moment but an interface design job. That's great about design, is varies so often!

Currently working on a custom topbar with a settings and calendar button for an iPad app at work. The top is supposed to be heavy, but are the buttons clear enough? Would love to know what you think!
