Ideasman Badge

Following on from the title design for Ideasman, I wanted to create an illustration of the insignia on Ideasman’s jacket. Inspired in part by “Pinky Demon Blocks the Exit” I hoped I could create something that could provide at least a touch of realism. This is the first time I’ve tried anything with this level of detail.

The whole thing was created in Photoshop with textures from CG Textures. If I were to make this from scratch again (it took a bloody long time as it was) I would focus on making the centre portion of the badge look more spherical as here I feel it comes across as another flat surface.
