Here is the first iteration of a logo for a client. I am no logo designer but am pretty proud of this bad boy.

    Thoughts?

Give it a hood! See how the top of this owl's head has like a widow's peak looking thing?: http://getintobirds.audubon.org/sites/default/files/photos/wildlife_barn_owl.jpg

The bigger the eyes the more adorbs he will get! I like him lots though.

How is it in grayscale? Looks great here - perfectly simple.

@Zethus Suen , @Brandon Escalante - High detail will only cause complications in the future. - Printing / color use / sizing etc. (And those are ears haha)

This looks really awesome! Only problem I can see is that the feet need to be much bigger, or they won't be noticeable in smaller sizes.

Really like this Jeff! I think though that it could do with some heavier contrast between the dark wings/shadows and the light areas for a more legible appearance.

Probably play a bit width the glasses / eyes. Make them larger and less gap between the two eyes. Try to enlarge the head a bit more.. maybe this will help?
