Daily UI 001: The Guitar Project

As a designer it can be hard to post about a lot of the work you do (because you’re not always allowed!). And of course you’ve got client needs, user needs and a load of other things to take into consideration. Sometimes you want to just create some design, free of any rules, limits or direction, just for pure fun and love of design.

So I’m doing a small UI brief every day just for a bit of fun (or you could also call it a busman’s holiday!). I’ve set a 30 minute time limit for me to complete each brief. Perfect or not - 30 minutes is all I get.

So, Daily UI 001;

Design a login page for a website about an interests. Well, it’s a fact that I LOVE guitars. I love to play them, look at them, listen to them, fix them. What better subject to design a login page around than that?
