    If you rotated those skinny esses together a bit at the bottom they would make hearts. They're halfway there already.

    @Olaus Linn good eye, mon frer. the idea was to keep them as separate, recognizable letterforms and hint at the heart without being on the nose.

    I dig it. I'd scooch 'em together a bit more in that case, just to push that intention, but absolutely keep them separate enough to retain the subtlety.

    Second row feels the strongest to me. The esses connect beautifully, and I definitely see a chain or clasp being formed in that ligature.
