Resimli Türk Mitleri, Illustrated Turkic Myths

About the project,
Today we see that Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Nordic myths have various sources and they’ve been portrayed in the popular culture constantly.

As Turkish people, we are unaware of our religious culture before Islam for lack of sources even though we practice it’s traditions and habits daily. Besides that my personal motivation was the prejudice caused by the stereotypical representations around me.

This project's purpose is to create a visual communication project by visualizing Turkish myths and stories to create a new and attractive source for kids (or people who think illustrated books are not just for kids) to explore their old culture.
