Somewhere a while ago on Facebook I saw a "Random Album Cover" project with the instructions below. Every once in a while I'll warm up in the morning with this exercise.
1. Band Name: Go to wikipedia.com. Click “random” (or follow this URL - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random) The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2. Album Name: Go to quotationspage.com. Click "Random quotes" in the menu (or follow this URL - http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3)
The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.
3. Main image: Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” (or follow this URL - http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days)
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your primary image in the album cover. (Sometimes downloading will be disabled by the artist or the image will be low res. Use your best judgement. Just putting that out there.)
4 - Edit: Use whatever you want to put it all together.
5 – Share with others: Pretty self explanatory but the original Facebook exercise asked you to tag a few of your designer friends to incite them to do their own.
Band name is United Nations Security Council Resolution 453
Album name is You Should Give Yourself a Break (part of a Billy Joel quote)
