Personal logo WIP

A or B?

There was always something about an older logo I created that resonated with me at a deep level, so I decided to embrace it and make it my own.

I'm trying to decide between these two versions. I like the detail in the second one, but it pretty much loses clarity as soon as it gets small or is printed on anything other than smooth paper.
