Недостаточно блура и прозрачности!
Никогда не думал, что разочаруюсь в Apple...
Да, да, ужасные икноки. Что русские дизайнеры теперь будут рисовать — непонятно.
Let's hope the consumers don't buy this iPhone, the devs and designers design textured UIs forcing Apple to retreat on the next iOS.
анимации зато классные (((= надеюсь за период бета-тестирования поправят кое-что Х) and if not - that's a new start at least :D
I...yeah...I'm really disappointed. Although I guess I should have seen it coming when this was shown to the public.
As I said a while back [twitter, probably]; Apple's a company that works best when it's creating a trend. Makes waves. Setting standards so much closer to perfect than anything else, that the competition has to chase them blindly to catch up, and no one can see how far there is left to go.
Now...they're not doing that. They took a trend that's already been around, and capitalized on it. They had the chance to set a new bar for consistent, beautiful, communicative icons & UI, and they fucked it up.
Now, iOS7 isn't bad by any measure. It's got some nice new features and a lot of the interface looks pretty good. But it's not doing what I want Apple to do: strive on ahead, eyes forward, never looking back because they know the rest of the tech world is still chasing their footsteps.
When Steve left, it was like a shot to the chest. Still so far ahead, still running, but slowly they're bleeding. Losing good designers [Mantia], getting distracted from the ideal. Losing drive.
Now, I guess, the pack has finally caught up, and Apple's stumbling as it gets pushed around, trying to see where the light is. Maybe no one knows anymore.
I love my iMac. I'm excited about the Mac Pro and Mavericks [Although...that name?]. I love my iPod Touch, although I won't be upgrading to iOS 7 without a fight. I really want Apple to succeed. They've got the strength and talent and money they need to patch their wounds and get back on their feet and run back ahead before anyone notices.
Or maybe we'll see the iWatch in a few months. Who knows anymore :(
:( .. Miui is our only hope!
UGLY iOS 7
@Nikita Yermolayev Да уж. Теперь добавить к фигне градиента, нойза и тени уже не прокатит :)
The cyan color is awesome !
Yeah guys, this is definitely sad news for most of us, for Icon Designers. Just can't realise what to do now, what will be with iOS icon design now? :(
@mat-u Hahahah, my friend, don'tcha see there is each pixel is awesome?!
I'm very disappointed.
Well who said we have to follow that? If somebody's up there doesn't give a shit about what he's doing that doesn't mean we need to sink after them.
@Iconka We'll have to see. I think most designers, like most people, will follow. No app developers want their icon to stick out like a sore thumb, so even if designers are capable of producing something much more aesthetically pleasing, they want their icon to fit in amongst the trash.
@Nikolay Verin Exactly what I thought! In my opinion, most of the best shots on dribble are iOS icon designs.
Apple kind of "invented" skeumorphic mobile UI design and now they're just done with it?
@Eli Schiff that is true. Although I personally think the iOS domination days are over, and they seem to help it by introducing something like this. So we'll just have to follow someone fresh and new ;)
@Iconka I won't follow Android, because I don't really like their UX. They don't really care about details. I have a Windows Phone, but WP doesn't leave really much room for art. Everything's monochrome :(
