An (Unusual) Alternate For Q

In my quest to do alternatives for Q, here is an alternative that I drew. The shape is unusual, and I can't remember what inspired me to do this form, but I seem to remember seeings it drawn on a menu board somewhere in Paris. Is this shape too unusual? Comments for or against welcome!
