This site is totally not Dribbble-tastic. This has been proven by the "popularity" of my other shots in this series. But, whatever, I've vowed to myself to not cater shots to what people want to see in a desperate attempt for likes (you know you do it!).

What it is, is exactly what my wife wanted. Something quirky and fun that doesn't stray too far from the typical design patterns of other "mom blogs". She pushed me outside my comfort zone but ultimately ended up with exactly what she wanted and I quite like it too. Now, I get to sit back and watch we document our kids' lives. Happy wife, happy life!

@Dave Soderberg I dig it! Plus you always have to make the client happy....especially if that client is your wife!

Dude, this reminds me of why I got into design and brings me back to some of the those cool magazines I used to look through in the 90s with awesome collage design and experimental typography - Love it!

One note on the web version: You may want to do a lazy load on the images so they only load as scroll, this will speed it up a bit.

Damn, @Aaron Cavano thanks for the kind words man!

Super good point about the lazy load too... I am sort of a front end noob so I tried to stay pretty simple. Have a suggested jQuery or js plugin?

@Dave Soderberg , feel like this kind of style can easily be overdone (as I have unfortunately done before), but looks like you pretty much succeed in executing this with such cleanliness!

Nice little details organized all over the place.
