Pretense - Digital Editorial Design Layout - Concept Grids

Testing some navigation section layouts for a publication concept design. From a user interface perspective (maybe biased cause I'm right handed) the centered design is best for overall usability. I feel like the familiar menu icon is necessary for people to enjoy navigating pages, but I like the left side more - figures ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
