Nature's Gears

An experimental project combining the research of TED Talks from Caleb Harper, Neri Oxman, and Anne Madden. Since the content of each presentor is themed in combining nature and design, the book design also intertwines nature and design. The gears represent agricultural design while the lady bugs and flowers represent nature. Furthermore, the title’s typeface was handmade to represent sticks laid on the ground to spell out words. Using InDesign, the grid structure is set with a 5 column grid layout.
