Kogarashi whisky

Kogarashi is a Japanese whisky, coming from Hokkaido region of Japan. In Japan Kogarashi is a term used to describe a cold, fragrant wind that arrives shortly before wintertime, which made it a perfect fit for the brand. It was my job to translate the subtle and refine flavour of Kogarashi whisky and create a brand that matches its boldness. The label features Hokkaido heron surrounded by wind clouds. It was hugely inspired by Hokusai’s woodblock prints.
