Barbou Typeface Revival
I have been working on the revival of a typeface lost to history, called Barbou. A sibling to Fournier, and based on the designs of Paul Simon Fournier, it was made by Monotype but never digitised. This is thought to be a mistake, as Barbou was the better of the two typefaces! It was used by Stanley Morison, in particular as the face of the typographic journal 'The Fleuron'. I have big plans for this typeface, a full pro family, exceptional for books.
Let me know what you think, and watch this space for more!
