Working out the new BambooHR brand book that will encompass the new branding work we did for them detailing the company values, mission, voice etc.
This thing is going to be a show piece! 67 pages and counting :)
This is in Ai at the moment since I am much faster there and then we will transfer it all over to InDesign once we have it about 95 percent complete.

Bill, do you guys come up with all the information for these books or is it more of a collaboration with the company? I know the design aspect of it its all you but I wan to know more about how you go about getting all the copy for the book. If its ok to ask ;)
Good work. Can't wait to see the website live.
would love to see the real thing!
full size attachment?
Awesome work guys! :)
Great branding deck.
Hey @Bill S Kenney love your work and your approach, i would love to see a complete pdf of your brand book.
Done in inDesign?
@Derek Jensen at the moment it is in Ai just for my own comfort and speed. We will transition it over to InDesign for the final printed piece.
would love to see the final outcome
@Bill S Kenney very nice work - how long did it take you and the team? We usually spend about 2-3 days on such a work... (most of this time is layout and writing some texts, of course).
@Bill S Kenney this looks and feels really clean, fresh and professional... totally on brand! I'm curious to know if your engagement with BambooHR will also encompass the product redesign? I wonder how much of the brand redesign will inform the product experience? I personally see no reason to differentiate, but I'd love to hear your opinion on how much emphasis you think should be placed on the brand within the product design and overall experience?
Although a users context and intent may be different when looking at options (comparing competitors, etc) vs specifically using the product, surely brand engagement should still be part of their overall customer experience.
looking good, but it sounds to me like a whole lot of lost hours doing it first in AI and then stepping over to InDesign.
@Marcel Deelen depends how fast and aligned their copy+paste procedure is.. if there's registered shapes on each AI page, could be a pretty simple 34 x copy and paste job, then remove the register shapes! But, hey - nothing's ever that simple, hey Adobe!
Really nice work @Bill S Kenney - great restrained use of colour throughout the book - One new website Im working on now is really benefitting from being able to 'step back' and look at all the pages (in your case spreads) of the site at once. nice!

@bill S Kenney - this is what that Web design spread looks like in Illustrator. All the pages have 12col grid margins running on top, its really nice to see the whole lot at once, and share symbols between them. Total filesize is

Do you have any brand guides completed that are available for online viewing? I figure they are only internal but it would really be cool to see the scope. Great work on this btw.
Gorgeous stuff as always, @Bill S Kenney.
Multiple Art boards for days. Love it.
