the Lighthouse

We watched the Lighthouse directed by Robert Eggers at the BFR Film Club this past week. Loved it so much I was inspired to do another of these.
The movie was built on strong characters, filled with gorgeous shots, and taught me a lot of my new favorite words. I also realized Thomas Wake (Dafoe) is the drunken’ wickie I aspire to be in my old age.
