Egg Drop

Eggs are such a fragile thing. Sometimes a single careless touch is enough to break it. But David Donoghue thought differently and in 1979 he proved it thereby falling into the Guinness Book of Records. He dropped a fresh egg out of a helicopter onto a golf course in Tokyo, Japan, from a height of 198 meters (650 feet) and it didn't break. Later, on August 22, 1994, he broke his own record by throwing an egg from a height of 213 meters (700 feet) in Lancashire, UK. And all this without any outside structure or additional protection.
