Progressive Design Elements

We use progressive design elements to help first time users learn cellular terminology and properly configure their devices.

When a user opens the "Data Limits" page for a device for the first time, a large educational tout is shown to explain the differences between usage alerts and data limits.

Once a user has set a data limit or usage alert for any device, we collapse the large educational tout and place it at the bottom of the page. (See the third attachment.) At any point, the user can dismiss this card, and it will never appear again. (See the fourth screen.)

The state for this educational tout is saved in the user's account rather than in a cookie, so we don't bug any user with this educational experience more than once.
