Giveat is an application that pushes people to stand-together and simplifies food donations by supporting neighbourhood initiatives.

How it works ?
A collector is an individual that behaves like a middleman between the other donors and a agreed-upon organization. The food (brought by the donors) will be stocked temporary at his or her own home until the donation is complete.

Once the donation is finished, it is the collector's responsibility to deliver it to the chosen organization.

On the other hand, the donor is the one who gives food. He never gets in touch with an organization.

As a consequence, an individual can either create or participate to a donation, depending on his own commitment.

The extra food gathered by our system can then be used by organizations in order to help the homeless people or the poorest.

In 3 simple steps :
1/ Creation of donation : the collector creates a new donation by choosing the beneficiary organization.
2/ Neighbourhood solidarity : donators near to the collector can play part in his donation.
3/ Delivery : the collector delivers the donation to the chosen organization.
