Another poster about the overuse of plastic and its effects on the planet.

Plastic in the oceans has a negative effect on most marine animals, as many of them confuse plastic for actual food. Separate studies done in 2013 showed that 50% of sea turtles in the studies had ingested plastic, and as a result were dying. The plastics create blockages in the animal’s intestines as it cannot be processed, leading the animal to starve to death.
