Polestar - Companion App Redesign

Polestar is the R&D sub brand of volvo, and as you can see they produce stunning electric and hybrid cars, with the latest and greatest automotive tech. With a minimalist language and brand identity, I felt like their companion app could use a bit of a refresh, so I set out to re-design it.

It did end up recharging my creatives batteries, and allowed me to explore a product solution without shadows and too many icons.
