I wanted to explore different tab options for mobile! 😊
🔍Nowadays, trends are pointing towards bottom-tabs navigation for most applications. But since some users enable buttons on the bottom of their screen, I wanted to explore this navigation pattern instead.
🟠With the use of cards in sections, we allow both horizontal and vertical scrolling
🟠Users can easily toggle among the 3 tabs to get to the section they want
🟠With this navigation pattern, the primary action button typically hovers at the bottom right corner for feasible thumb-reach
🟠Ideally, we'd limit the tab number to 3 to allow users click space, any more than 5, then we'll have to allow users to scroll the tabs horizontally
You can find similar patterns in apps like Google Maps and Youtube!
