District 1600 is a concept brand identity system for a boutique hotel located in the Muskoka region in Ontario, Canada.
The Muskoka region–commonly referred to as the district of Muskoka–consists of approximately 1,600 lakes. This was used as inspiration when creating the brand name. The logo is comprised of two elements. Firstly, the Muskoka chair which is typically associated with the district–secondly, a crown which closely ties in with the theme of a traditional hotel. A neutral colour palette consisting of blue shades represent the famous lakes of the region.
