Personal Identity

When approaching my personal identity, I looked to my past to find a unique way to brand myself in the design world. One of the things most important to me is my history. My middle name, Thomas, is shared with my grandfather. Although he is gone, he remains one of the most influential people in my life. He taught me the value of history and the past.

For the creation of my self promotional piece, I sought an item that could be packaged that emphasizes history. I utilized wine because of the way its historical nature and maturation over time is valued. I chose wine because the content of each bottle is unique and different, altered by minute variations in process.
