Michael Gibson logo ideation 1

"Does it scream wealth?" Business consultant and wealth extraordinaire Michael Gibson wanted a brand that made people immediately know he owned a yacht. Obviously, when someone works in investments, looking the part plays a huge role in new clients. Thankfully, Michael actually is successful so all I had to do is play with the brand psychology.

Used a classic serif that doesn't feel stuffy, adjusted the tracking slightly. I went with the political route of deep American tones and charcoal (not pictured).

Michael ended up coming back deciding he wanted a crest-- so the brand changed. But, as always, I liked my initial version, though he never really got to see it in action.
