Forage Press Contribution

We were honored to contribute to the premiere installment of Forage Press a publication and collaborative platform that celebrates the union between audio and visual creativity through original visual based articles composed by creatives across the globe.

The brief was very open — seek out a distinct form of music (band, artist, genre, scene, etc.), then visually tell a story about this subject through the creation of original imagery using your chosen visual medium.

This series was created in response to Hudson Mohawke's All Hot (feat. Nadsroic).

The song blends clarity and distortion, sparseness and depth, along with synthetic and organic elements to create something really captivating and kind of spooky. We wanted to attempt to capture a similar texture and oscillation between (and within) the imagery while allowing a lot of space for the viewer to find their own surreal and potentially fluctuating narrative.
