Made for practice. Going to start focusing on designing for Mac and iOS even more in the future.

Top bar will display the title of the file once it has been saved.

Looks nice. The main header is too empty though. The title of the document could be put in the center and a "fullscreen" button on the right side would work as well. Just my 2¢.

@Gavin Anthony Thanks for the feedback. The title will appear there once the document is saved, but I didn't think of adding a fullscreen option. Good idea.

My only issue is it doesn't really add anything new to what's already out there. But if it's for practice, good job on the UI treatments.

Nice work as usual! I still think your black outlines are a little too dark though, as they make the rounded corners look somewhat sharp/edgy. Also, I'd consider using the default height for the top bar, as it will likely continue to look empty even with the title visible. In my opinion, a tall top bar only makes sense if the elements inside actually take advantage of the extended height, which doesn't seem to be the case here (correct me if I'm wrong).

Nice work! The main header can be thinner before saving the document. So it 'll expand once the document has a title.

Very striking! Would be nice if the top bar was mostly transparent. It draws too much needless attention when the information at hand is within the document. As a few others pointed out, it could do with being thinner also.

It's nice to see something that isn't flat for a change. Great work!

  12. Rebound to Text Editor by Alex Montague. Loved his concept so for practice as well made an iOS version of it. This is the 3rd upload of it Alex pointed out some valid points. Added a font drop down menu button that will contain typeface, size, and spacing options. Also fixed button spacing Enjoy.

  13. I just loved Alex Montague's Text Editor design for Mac. This inspired me to think about the most efficient way to lay out such an application as an iOS App! This is also as practice (and fun!), I'm really happy with the results (check out the @2x awesomeness!), and I hope you like it too! :D

Can't say I prefer the body font, and I'd say go for a little more line-height, but really loving the UI. Good job!

@James Fletcher You can change the body font, and the line height. It's a text editor. That's what it does.
