So happy to have worked on Cafepress' mobile website while at Mad Mobile about a year ago.
This project was extremely challenging from a UX perspective. Cafepress holds more than 300 million products under their belt, which can make the mobile experience feel heavy and over cluttered.
After tons of research and iterations, I decided to rely heavily on Search to browse through their products. I also created a brand new mobile-only feature called "Shake a Shirt" which allows users to shake their phone in order to find a random shirt from the Cafepress catalog.
