Uninvited Redesign: Fridays For Future

I recently started my Master studies in Interface Design. For a class on digital typography, I had to redesign a non-profit organization’s website. I chose fridaysforfuture.org.

The original site is designed very inconsistently. It’s extremely chaotic and, for the most part, feels “undesigned”. While this obviously brings a lot of problems, there’s an authenticity to it which I like. The site looks “self-made”.

I tried to fix the original design’s inconsistency and solve its typography-related problems as well as its UI-related problems. At the same time, I tried to keep some of the original site’s raw charm. I wanted it to look professional, but not corporate.
