    Hey guys and gals,

@Jonno Riekwel and me have been tweaking the website. Larkef.com version 1.2 contains the following improvements:

    • New, cuter mail icon. Muchos important.
    • Improved slider. Now works on mobile and looks better on both retina and normal resolution.
    • The website is now responsive.
    • I now have a blog, on which I share my deep thought. ;)

    Yay!

Ps. The slider does contain a bug. If you spot it, and know how to fix it, please contact me. ;)

I truly like your vision on good design. Very honest! Trying to design a logo for myself the past couple of years, and i'm still nowhere. Really should hire a great logo designer i guess :)

This turned out pretty well and I'm very impressed by simplicity, colors and presentation. You took a great step forward and I think I should learn a lesson from you ;)

I like the site Jord although Im not sure you are quite making your point in your blog. I get hiring designers to do what they do best but in your case you are telling your clients "Im a logo designer but I hired another logo designer to design my logo because I wanted the best." While there are valid reasons for doing so, it's not something a client will ever understand.

@Emery Wells Hey thanks for the comment. So far I have had no client find it weird I didnt design my own logo. Most of them dont know, and when they do, they dont mind at all.

How about this: all logo designers are chefs. I am a stake chef, and the guy that did my logo is a sushi chef. I cannot be great at all disches, I should focus. I wanted some sushi, so I hired a sushi chef, instead of trying to do it myself.

    Does that make sense?

@Atanas Mahony Should be fixed, thanks!

@Davey Heuser No idea what it is, but it should be fixed soon. :)

@Huig van der Waal Thanks mate. I know how hard it is. An outsider is always nice for fresh ideas.

@Jord Riekwel That makes a lot more sense. I don't think that came through in your post.
