DUDE! That's a nice drawing right there, yes sir! Good stuff :)
Kinda silly question, perhaps, but how do you keep the purple out of the rest of the sketch?
@Andrew Terpening thank you, sir! Not a silly question! When I use the watercolor, I put a lot of just water down without the color first. That way, when I add the color and it bleeds, it only bleeds on the water. So I can kinda control the washes. I don't know if that's technically correct, I'm just making this up as I go! But that's how I do it :)
@Virginia Poltrack Oh, what a great idea! Neat :)
This is beautiful!
Just realized that is pencil-high; such wonderful work in a small space!
@Tad Fry thanks! Most of the drawings on here are 5x7 - they are pretty small in real life :)
Very cool! Loving the eyes!
@Virginia Poltrack, Do you like working with that constraint? Pros and cons? As I sketch more, I like using those small dimensions to keep me focused and save time.
@Tad Fry you know - my sketchbook is 6x9, and I got the paper as a gift and liked it b/c it fits in my book. So I like that it's portable and I always have it with me. And this is weird, but I'm kinda small, so I like working small, lol. Just the way I like to do it :)
oh. my. goodness. Lion. :) Lion!!! :D :D :D YES!
