SR. GRAPHIC DESIGNER- APPAREL

We provide custom decorated apparel to the corporate, resort, professional sport, music, and entertainment markets as well as selling our own brand directly to consumers. Then come evolve with us as a Sr. Graphic Designer where you will relish “owning it” from ideation of several concepts to executing screen print-ready designs to wow our B2B business customers. This role reports to and works in conjunction with the Director of Creative Services Director to ensure the quality, integrity, and execution of graphic design projects that are implemented for our B2B customers. To succeed in this role, you will be able to recreate logos and other designs in vector format from rasterized source images and work across the entire design process, including but not limited to conceptualizing from a design brief, creation of several viable options, gathering feedback, performing revisions, and producing production-ready art files of approved designs. No travel is required for this role. 


WHO YOU ARE FOR THE TEAM

  • You have 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an apparel company with a strong brand ethos.  Prior experience in screen printing is required.
  • You have a strong visual sense and your own unique style. Illustration skills are preferred.
  • You have a creative sense and live a “creative lifestyle,” with no room for drama.
  • You seek out feedback and input from others using it to grow as a designer and deliver the best possible outcome for clients.
  • You are Proficient in illustrator and Photoshop with strong Typography Skills.
  • You can work independently with high output balancing multiple projects at a time while still engaging as a team player looking to elevate the team as a whole. 
  • You are innovative and pride yourself on being up to date on current trends, creating with confidence, and raising the bar for the Creative department. 


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Produce custom artwork and regular art requests developing from thumbnail sketches all the way through final execution.
  • Create apparel graphics for some of the biggest brands in the country from sports teams and bands to lifestyle brands including our own D2C Sportiqe brand.
  • Help Sportiqe grow through re-orders (i.e. deliver awesome artwork that makes customers want to come back again and again) and through new business (i.e. being known for awesome artwork delivering art to prospects when they need it)
  • Ensure Art requests are facilitated on time and kicked out with great quality, communicating on status updates, and driving new levels of performance, efficiency, and quality for the team.
  • Elevate the design of the products by conducting brand research and playing with concepts and ideas. Manage creative assets and resources
  • Stretch Opportunity to grow skills by creating custom art for clients through incorporating illustration strengths into customs designs.
