Sr. Experience Designer

Senior Experience Designers work in multidisciplinary teams using Design Thinking to solve problems ranging from interfaces to new business models helping bring concepts into reality through prototyping and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day production
  • Gathering business and user requirements
  • Evaluate existing sites for usefulness, usability, visual design, content, branding, and best practices
  • Support and participate in user testing
  • Create deliverables including: site maps, annotated wireframes, user and interaction flow diagrams, prototypes and documentation for development
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the design meets analytics, SEO, content, creative, and development needs
  • Design in an agile, iterative process
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  •  A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in the liberal arts or human-centered design or equivalent in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years industry experience
  • Experience in design thinking and human centered design methods and techniques
  • Experience in UI design, specifically for mobile, responsive design and platform based solutions
  • Digital agency experience and background highly preferred
  • Passionate about design and technology
  • Site Maps, User Flows, and Wireframe expert and proficient in crafting clickable prototypes
  • Knowledge around conducting heuristic evaluations for contemporary website design and navigation design
  •  A growth mindset and ability to find creative ways to get things done effectively and collaboratively
  • Continuous learner of technology, promoting it, using it and finding new tools to make us more effective
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into simple concepts
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity, and passion for user centered design
  • Ability to develop relationships, collaborate, plan, and execute with support
  • Proficient with design tools such as Sketch, Axure or similar wire framing/design tools
  • Experienced in working in an Agile team preferred
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, and advertising
