Product Design Lead

What We Need

Yieldmo is seeking a Product Design Lead to join our team of problem-solvers and inventors to evolve the way brands connect with people. We aspire to make advertising a welcome part of free content, making marketers more effective along the way. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, business teams and customers to create interactive ad experiences and advertising tools.  As a designer at Yieldmo, you’ll be expected to use your full range of product, interaction, and visual design skills. Your work will change an industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Yieldmo’s Design and UX Team building innovative advertising solutions
  • Create new ad formats and iterations, battle tested for performance and user experience against billions of ad views per month
  • Create marketer campaign tools that bring those ad experiences and the intelligence behind them to life
  • Work in close collaboration with Product Managers to inform and improve design strategies, help set the vision for the user experience and formulate plan for iterating  towards that vision
  • Collaborate tightly with engineering to experiment and launch commercially viable products, all while putting systems in place for scalable, well documented products. 
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with clients, designers and stakeholders to generate new concepts and a long term UX vision
  • Develop a strategy for improving advertiser performance metrics
  • Iterate early concepts objectively using both qualitative and quantitative usage data
  • Drive UX research to hone product performance as seen through the lens of its users
  • Provide consultative services and product roadmap collaboration with a few key clients

Requirements

  • 5-7 Years of combined experience in product design, having seen interactive products through from concept, to launch, to multiple data backed iteration cycles
  • Bachelor’s Degree in: Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or other relevant fields
  • Strong track record of leading teams to launch consumer facing products
  • Player-coach ability: making prolific contributions yourself while managing growth of the design team
  • Experience designing cross-platform experiences at consumer-focused tech or media companies, building and shipping applications and products for both desktop and mobile
  • Excellent communicator and ability to articulate your design approach as well as strategic opportunities for creating impact
  • Prototyping experience with tools such as Framer or Principle
  • Basic HTML / CSS / Javascript knowledge
  • Interest and ability to conduct tangible R&D in emerging areas (e.g.  CTV, 3D, AR/VR, and Voice UI)
