UI Designer
As a UI Designer at Crayon you will embrace user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences. You will be responsible for working with color, typography, iconography, and animation to bring product visions to life - from concept to execution. As an early member of a growing team, you will also be a key contributor in evolving our design practice. We believe that strong collaboration between design, product, and engineering results in beautiful and accessible products that customers love!
Responsibilities
- Design the UI, interactions, and in-app brand for the Crayon platform
- Present design concepts clearly and persuasively to stakeholders
- Find innovative, beautiful solutions to complex challenges
- Work closely with product and engineering across the full product lifecycle
- Help update and grow our design system
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Startup experience with small, high-velocity product organizations
- Proficient with Figma and other industry-standard design software
- Understanding of WCAG/ADA best practices
- Experience with SCSS a strong plus
- An amazing, and highly relevant, portfolio
- Rave reviews from former teammates
