UI/UX Designer

Role and Responsibilities

As a UX/UI Designer at Bonfyre, you will work with our Product Team of designers and developers to elevate the Bonfyre application with intuitive and functional user experiences and interfaces across web and mobile platforms

Our team is very collaborative, and the application design process is fast and iterative. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Wireframe development and UI design for new product concepts; design and production of UI components, working closely with Dev Teams, refining and iterating versions as needed
Concept, design, illustration, and production of graphic assets for product features, in both vector and raster formats

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years related experience in UX/UI design
Excellent knowledge of the Adobe CC Suite (primarily Illustrator, XD, Photoshop, AfterEffects) and Sketch
Knowledge of prototyping tools, such as XDSketch and/or Invision
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Strong understanding of branding and the ability to work with existing style guides
Ability to sketch and wireframe concepts by hand as well as digitally
Ability to solve problems creatively, quickly, and effectively
Ability to handle multiple projects at once and manage complicated, deadline-driven workload
Excellent time management skills
Excellent written communication skills, including ability to write, edit, and make copy suggestions
Enjoys collaborating on design solutions and working as part of a team

Bonus skills

Prior experience with startups or technology companies is a plus
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience conducting user research, evaluating feedback, and analyzing data to make informed UX decisions
Basic understanding of Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design, as well as web best practices
