UX/UI Designer
We are looking for a designer, or firm, to assist with branding, UI, and UX.
Parseports is a ticketing platform, which facilitates transactions between travel agents and tourism operators. Our unique payment system allows operators to be paid upfront, minimising the risk of bad debts with small travel agencies; the financial insecurity of existing practices was highlighted during the onset of COVID travel restrictions.
Parseports has a working MVP, and is looking for someone to help us refine the user experience and interface. From the landing page, onboarding, dashboard, ticketing, email templates, and reporting, we're looking for a user friendly and consistent experience for our users.
Planned production launch is in January 2021, and we're looking for a designer that's available for an immediate start, in order to produce design templates for our dev team. As development continues, our designer will be an integral part of the delivery process for future improvements.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional design experience in UI/UX design.
- Portfolio demonstrating experience and skill.
- Expertise in UI Design including product sketches, wireframes, visual designs, mockups, conceptual designs and layouts for user-facing functionality.
- Familiar with design across different platforms. Parseports is desktop & tablet based, but we'll provide a mobile version in the future as well.
Contract Rate
Parseports is a self-funded startup, and we're looking for a cost-effective contract rate between $40 - $60/hr.
Contract Duration
Minimum 8 week contract duration, with the possibility of extending further based on development and design needs.
