Junior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who is a go-getter, problem solver, eager to learn, appreciates challenges without pulling your hair out & can be taught different skills needed to excel.

For larger projects, you’ll work directly with our graphic designer to take a concept that is 70% complete and get it print-ready. On other projects, you’ll take the lead on custom design elements for print and online materials.

You will also help design engaging and captivating graphics to be used across our social accounts, websites, and internet presence.

Ultimately, you will play a key part in our company’s design focus as well as our marketing effort to help us attract the best clients and design compelling and beautiful content.

Must be in Denver.

Responsibilities

  • Keep our website up to date with new photos, content, & products.
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce print and online materials
  • Content creation and copywriting for print and online materials.
  • Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Stories, posts, content)
  • Illustrates concept by designing a rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
  • Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience designing projects from scratch using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven graphic designing experience (Show off your portfolio!)
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
