Senior Product Designer

NOSTRAGAMUS is paving the future of social gaming by creating an environment that empowers and brings together players into a unique, diverse, fun & secure platform.

We are a group of Dreamers, Developers and Designers from India with an undying love for sports and gaming - who want to give all gamers a platform to play, compete, win & have awesome experiences..

Players can engage in a wide list of formats like Fantasy Sports, Card games, Adventure games, or quizzes. Our platform is meant to let them showcase their knowledge, skill & ability in order to compete and win rewards & cash prizes. We spend a lot of effort in ensuring fair, skill-based competition for every sport or game we cover.

Our aim is to become India’s biggest and most inclusive eSports platform. We want to create a stage where the most skilled players can come and compete for the biggest prizes, as long as they have access to a mobile device and an internet connection.

We are looking for a designer who can align with these goals & help us create awesome experiences. As the list of formats in Nostra is vast and expanding, designers will be able to work on various product & features based on their expertise such as - Poker, Cricket Fantasy, Quiz, or Loyalty and Social systems across the product. Prior experience in designing games / sports media would therefore be appreciated

We’re a small design team , this means that you will play an integral part in shaping the design culture at NOSTRAGAMUS. Your responsibilities won’t be limited to shipping stunning visual designs, but to actively participate and contribute to ideation, strategy and execution .

Responsibilities

1. Work with Product Team to propose and build products and features that meet customer needs and are aligned with business strategy
2. Take high-level product ideas from conception to mockups, wireframes, and finished renderings,.
3. Lead design from ideation to release on fun interactive features that enhance story and increase player engagement through delight, depth and replayability .
4. Work on products to implement and improve gamification and behaviour design efforts .
5. Active participation in brainstorming & strategy sessions
6. Partner with product , business & and engineering to solve the right problems and to oversee the user experience of new features and products from conception through launch.
7. Create a consistent and simple brand experience at every touchpoint of the product, and across platforms (Web, iOS, Android)

Requirements

1. 3+ years of experience in consumer centric product application
2. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
3. Strong design mentality and intuition for game mechanics and game flow
4. Fluent in design and prototyping techniques, principles and tools like Sketch,Figma and Adobe Suite
5. Embrace an interactive design process and are receptive to feedback
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
7. Good knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design Guidelines
8. Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, interaction design trends, usability principles, and platform guidelines.
9. Proven track record designing beautiful and usable interfaces
10. Sports Fan , Experience in a startup or other fast-paced environment is a plus.
11. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an added advantage.
