UI/UX Designer

Have you bought, rented, sold or let a house recently?

If you have, you may have noticed that software in the property industry is ready for an overhaul. It lacks transparency and makes what should be an exciting time in our lives more stressful than it should be. The good news? We're going to change that.

We're on a mission to change the way people buy and sell property across the UK; to put the joy back into moving. Over the past 2 years, we've been working on Street.co.uk - our groundbreaking SaaS product that's going to put transparency, user experience and beautiful design at the heart of our industry. We're now on the run-up to Street's launch, and we've got big things planned over the next 12 months.

We're looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer who's as passionate as we are about clean, modern design to join us during this incredibly exciting time.

As a key member of our Engineering team, you'd be involved in:

  • Playing an active role in the product direction, working closely with product owners, developers and other designers
  • Working on end-to-end product design; from scoping and user research through to prototyping, design and user-testing
  • Ensuring consistency across multiple products which are in various stages of the product lifecycle
  • Working closely with our UX/UI Designers on our design system; ensuring it’s fully utilised within the business
  • Participating in design sprints and workshops
  • Being a brand guardian in an environment where clean, modern design is of utmost importance
  • Being one of the first designers working on Street.co.uk - a huge chance to make an impact and leave your mark
  • Occasionally helping with print design for other areas of the business, e.g. marketing materials

Who we're looking for

  • You have strong design skills and a keen interest in the latest in UI developments
  • You have commercial experience working professionally as a UI/UX Designer
  • You are familiar with end-to-end UX design processes (e.g. scoping, user research, wireframing, prototyping, designing, testing) and can demonstrate this in your portfolio
  • You are happy working autonomously, but also enjoy working collaboratively with other designers and developers
  • You're a great communicator and have strong attention to detail
  • You have experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud
