UI Artist

We're looking for UI Artist who will help bring beauty and thoughtful execution to our work. Savvy is a top creative agency and one of the first agencies to pioneer #remotelife back in 2009 before it was cool...or required. We're looking for more designers to join our team. We have a great culture, generous benefits, and a fun, results-oriented atmosphere.

We expect you to be knowledgeable of the mobile game landscape and have a perspective about what separates good design from great design. Beyond that, this role includes a holistic approach to UI design, ranging from UI art to motion graphics to interaction. You'll work closely with product, UX, and development team members in an effort to produce beautiful work.

Our Designer Team Members

  • Do a little bit of everything. UI, illustration, animation, iconography, prototyping, and the like. Some more than others, but we don’t mind if you’re a Swiss army knife.
  • Don’t have heads the size of Jupiter. Designers are emotional creatures, we understand, but we also know that often times the best results come from thoughtful critique. You respectfully position your ideas, but you actively seek honest critique from others to help improve your work.
  • Nail the basics. From type, color, whitespace, balance, and layout, you have an eye for design details. You’re an expert at the intangibles.
  • Are self-starters. To be successful here at Savvy, you need to love what you do, first and foremost. But you also need to be motivated and communicative from a distance — we’ve been remote for over ten years! But fear not, you’re not alone on an island, you’ll have semi-daily touch-points with other team members along with a weekly company sync.

What You Can Expect

  • You’ll help embellish and magnify story and narrative themes through expressive in-game UI.
  • You’ll will work closely with our Creative Director to help with UI changes across a suite of mobile games.
  • You’ll be the design lead of new mobile game products. You use branded design, design fundamentals, and a clean design aesthetic to achieve goals.
  • You use illustrative skills with to work within a range of art styles and hit a desired game style.
  • Advocating for best practices within the mobile game landscape with a focus on the user’s experience.
  • To have fun. A lot of people say that, but we mean it. We love what we do and no day is ever the same. We like it that way. We don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Our team members are committed to doing great work. We obsess over every last detail and expect you to do the same. Think you have what it takes? Apply now!
