UI/UX DESIGNER FOR VIRTUAL AND LIVE EVENTS

Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a UI/UX designer to join our Creative team. Although this role will focus primarily on interface design, there will be opportunities to work on other visual design challenges such as UI design for interactive kiosks, presentations, marketing elements and other graphic design challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with our Senior Designer to create thoughtful user flows, wireframes, polished visual designs and prototypes.
Excellent design capability with an eye for detail, execution and storytelling
Possess a positive attitude with high level of dedication and collaborative spirit
Comfortable within a dynamic environment, designing for different industries
Maintain open communication on current project status, risks and challenges
Collaborate across disciplines with an inclusive approach to solve complex user-experience challenges
Be able to easily communicate intentions and needs to various departments

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

4-6 years of experience designing compelling web and other digital interfaces
BA or BS in Graphics, Communications, Digital Media or related field
Expert in Adobe XD, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, PPT/Keynote
Strong knowledge of site layout and user interface design processes and methodology
Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
Concept inspired as well as detail-oriented
Comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment
Our staff is currently working remote but eventually must be able to work a full-time at our office in Oakville, ON.
