UI/Visual Designer

Sway is seeking an experienced, digitally focused visual designer to help us create best in class digital experiences for a growing list of clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for stewarding the conception and execution of best-in-class work for a range of digital projects. We’re looking for someone with an impressive portfolio of client work that showcases their skill, agency experience and ability to concept and design across multiple channels. The UI/Visual Designer should be truly passionate about digital advertising and be an advocate for innovation to shape the creative and culture here at Sway. Please note: US residents preferred.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience designing for the web in an agency setting
  • A proven history of designing for the web and other digital platforms by concepting creative solutions for an ever-changing medium
  • A solid command of the UX/UI design process in regards to creating best in class experiences with tools like the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Zeplin etc
  • A comprehensive understanding of developing for the web in regards to file organization for development handoff, accessibility, compression, vector and bitmap intricacies
  • A well rounded knowledge of the digital product life cycle and experience driving digital projects from start to finish
  • An additional understanding of print and/or broadcast mediums is a plus

  • Develop inspiring creative concepts and designs from client insights and expressed objectives
  • Work collaboratively with copywriters, art directors, strategists and technologists to both see your own ideas through and amplify the ideas of others toward the most impactful, intelligent and impressive solution
  • Be able to easily communicate, support and present your concepts and designs and clients
  • Have a sound understanding of the digital space in order to produce responsive experiences and be well versed in their production to talk through the development with your team
  • Be a student of the industry and an influencer within the team — always sharing learned insights, trends and best practices
