Product Designer (UX/UI)

We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to help turn our visions and ideas into reality. Someone who loves working through complex problems from start to finish. Someone who is an outgoing, socially confident person and isn’t afraid to take control of a room.
What will you do?
As a Product Designer, you’ll be a key part of the idea generation process. You’ll be tasked with solving complicated problems and make them simple for our users. Your days will be filled with:
- Turning ideas and problems into solutions and opportunities
- Creating polished mockups in Sketch
- Turning mockups into hi-fidelity prototypes in InVision
- Collaborating with stakeholders, from both the business and development
- Presenting your solutions to stakeholders
- Work together with the team lead in improving and advocating Genki, our design system
What do we expect from you?
As a Product Designer, we expect you to combine business and user goals and turn them into exceptional designs that speak for themselves. We think Product Designers should capitalize on the freedom to take the initiative and challenge the status quo. There’ll be moments where you’ll have to defend your choices, we expect you to be able to hold your ground when that happens.
Furthermore, as a candidate:
- You have 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in designing digital products – not just websites
- You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in design or a related field
- You are comfortable with each part of the design process, from research to exceptional UI design
- You understand that exceptional design is made through collaboration
- You understand the technical constraints and are able to use them to your advantage
- You thrive on feedback and are able to respond with creative thinking and iterative design
- You are self-driven and take full ownership of your ideas and solutions
- You speak and write fluent English
- You have experience working with Sketch or a similar design application
- You have experience working with InVision, Marvel or a similar prototyping application
