Part-Time Content Designer

Founded in 2006, Safire Partners is one of the most active retained executive search firm focused on emerging growth and venture-backed companies, with recruiters and clients in Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Seattle and New York.

We are hiring a part-time Content Designer to support our Recruiters to create client deliverables. We take pride in providing the best service to our Clients and Candidates. The documents we leverage to support our searches are vital for engaging our Clients, generating candidate interest, and branding our business.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with expert skills in:

Overall document design
Microsoft Word
Photoshop / InDesign
Strong writing / storytelling skills
Excellent grammar / proofreading skills

What you will do:

Edit and format external-facing documents for a variety of uses and functions
Source images and graphics for documents including client-created media, logos, and external content to augment/improve deliverables
Collaborate with internal team to identify and improve the storytelling behind our client’s value to the market
Improve upon existing templates
Be able to turn around deliverables in a short window (2-3 deliverables with 24-48 hour turnaround windows)

Hours / Work Schedule:

This position does not require you to be in the office. Once this individual has spent a few days at the office (if possible), they can conduct all future work remotely. We would ideally like this person to commit to a 2-day per week work schedule but it will be variable.

Your profile should reflect:

3-5 years in Content marketing, Content Design, or graphic design
Deep understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
Experience collecting written copy and requirements and translating them into polished documents, brochures, flyers, and presentations
Strong understanding of how individuals view and read written materials and how to engage the reader
Passion for the startup world and our clients

Compensation: $35 / hour

Hours: 12 / week (estimated)
