Junior Graphic Designer

US: Trilogia is a Seattle and Santa Cruz-based Cannabis and Content company. 

YOU

You are the best designer in your class, and have ambitions to start your own studio or product line one day. You see the value in learning from successful and seasoned designers and product marketers to learn what it takes to launch design-centric brands with vision.  You’re also an innovative and detail-oriented designer with an eye for clean and artful design, experience with social media graphics, and print design. You have big ideas and you know how to bring them to life. Experiential design a plus. You’ll be working closely with the Creative Director and Director of Content Marketing. You’re comfortable with fast-paced deadlines, sometimes long hours, and the quick pivots that are required in a nimble, start-up environment. 



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create both print and digital graphics using Trilogia branding guidelines
  • Presentation deck design
  • Design visually arresting social media graphics for our omni-channel marketing efforts 
  • Select and retouch stock photography to make it on-brand and interesting
  • Work cross-functionally on design for paid advertising, content marketing, product packaging, and experiential marketing efforts 
  • Collaborate and brainstorm visual solutions multiple channels 
  • Ability to follow internal design process and own design projects from sketch to final production
  • Manage artwork ensuring it is on brand and designed to precise detail
  • Archive all created graphics and photos according to Trilogia branding
  • Assist with upload to content management system once graphics are finished
  • Motion graphics and video design experience a plus

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in graphic design
  • Must be proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Must have working knowledge of InDesign
  • Must be very organized and systematic
  • Must have a trained eye for design and picking best imagery
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Adaptability, self-starter, takes initiative
  • Takes feedback well and continually adapts to changing needs
  • Is personable, team-oriented, and professional
  • Applications without a portfolio will not be considered
  • Able to self-direct in a remote work environment
  • Understand design restrictions and requirements for all social media platforms a plus
  • Previous experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress a plus
  • After Effects / Premiere a plus
