Motion Graphics Designer
Submersive Media is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team. He/she will be passionate about creating envelope-pushing motion graphics & animation for our film clients on social media. A strong sense of composition, timing, color theory, typography, and lighting is a must. He/she must be fluent in digital video manipulation, transcoding, and editing. Digital illustration skills are also preferred. The ideal candidate lives & breathes in the digital/interactive design space and is knowledgeable about modern design trends. He/she is enthusiastic about creating cutting-edge content. This is an on-site position located at our New York office in the NoMad area.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize & execute motion graphics content for multiple social media campaigns
- Establish creative direction & brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and timeline restrictions
- Perform retouching & manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and file types
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related design field
- Knowledge of animation, motion tracking, rotoscoping, video & audio editing, masking, color correction, typography, graphic fundamentals, and the web
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Cinema 4D, and other graphic design software
- Compelling reel that demonstrates a wide range of creative projects
- Experience communicating with clients and/or brands preferred
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills are a MUST
- Must possess an intellectual curiosity and passion for the space. Eagerness to stay abreast of the ever-changing nature of digital media marketing.
- Digital Agency experience a plus
- Strong English written & oral communication
