Design + Fitness

We’re looking for a talented designer who cares about fitness, to help us bring a personal trainer to every home.

Our vision is to bring a personal trainer to every home and do that cost-effectively. We accomplish this by combining human trainers with computer vision / AI to create a compelling and convenient at-home workout experience. We are looking for a UX / UI design lead to help us shape this product.

As the design lead, you'll be responsible for UX and visual design of the product components used by both users and trainers on the platform. The innovative nature of the product calls for UI that dynamically responds to different phases of the workout experience including setup, calibration, the workout, and tracking/feedback.

The product is past early testing phases and over the next six months we'll be adding polish to the product experience and bringing it to market. You'll be working with our small team and will play a key role in all product-related decisions. You'll also be taking part in conversations with trainers and users in user-testing sessions.

A part-time role might be sufficient to begin with, with the expectation of joining full-time in the future.

• Obsess about the details and produce high quality visual and interaction design
• Are a great communicator
• Are fast-paced, with an entrepreneurial ownership mentality
• Have experience with gamification concepts (nice to have)
• Have a humble spirit
• Live in San Francisco bay area
