Middle / Senior Product Designer
Uzum is a young and unique company located in Uzbekistan. It's the leading ecosystem of innovative services that are already used by millions of people in the country. With well over 5000 employees, Uzum is rapidly growing and taking over various segments (e-commerce, fintech, foodtech, and others).
Uzum Tezkor is a food tech service that helps customers order anything from local restaurants and stores. Even though we launched earlier this year, we are competing for the leading position on the local market, launching new product verticals and scaling our business to new cities.
As a Product Designer at Uzum Tezkor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our customer-facing applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and UX researchers, to design intuitive and visually appealing solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements.
Collaborate with the product team to conceptualize and design innovative features that enhance the overall user experience.
Translate complex ideas into simple and elegant design solutions.
Develop and execute design experiments to test hypotheses, gather user feedback, and iterate on designs accordingly.
Work closely with UX researchers to gather insights and data for continuous improvement.
Contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency and coherence across all platforms and products.
Collaborate with developers to implement and refine design components within the design system.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs.
Participate in design sprints, brainstorming sessions, and regular team meetings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Product Designer with a focus on consumer-facing mobile applications.
A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and a deep understanding of design principles.

Proficiency in Figma.

Ability to create prototypes for user testing and iteration.
Nice-to-haves:
Strong knowledge of interaction design, user-centered design, and information architecture.
Good communication skills in Russian is a huge plus
Ability to fly to Tashkent (the capital city of Uzbekistan) for 3+ months is also a huge plus
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Eagerness to stay updated on industry trends and emerging design tools.
